On Saturday 19th April we all lost a very good friend. Chris Moffatt, 39. This was very unexpected loss and a shock to us all. Chris was a member of ours for 21 years and a very prominent personality in our club.
He would have a pint of Stella in hand and was always up for a game of snooker. Even if he was nicknamed 'Flukey Tw@t'. Chris was loved by many and his loss has had a devastating effect on our club.
Chris was a player for the Urmston Snooker league for coming up to 14 Years. Chris was a very strong snooker player. He played one of our teams, Sale Cons B under Mark Johnson.
Chris worked at Tesco in Sale and was very often spotted in his uniform having a pint after work. He had worked there since being a teenager.
The funds we are raising are for a bench to put on the grounds of Sale Conservative Club in memory of our Chris.
Thank you for your donations. They are massively appreciated by everyone Sale Conservative Club.
If you would prefer to donate in person, we will be more than happy to accept cash donations over the bar.
